BOH 1.2

Nombre: BOH
Versión: 1.2
Género: Arcade
Licencia: Comercial
Plataformas: GNU/Linux, Windows, MacOS X, AmigaOS4
Web Oficial: BOHthegame

  1. Hello,

    this is the author of BOH.
    First of all, thanks for the news item :)
    I’d like to stress that the video you referred to is not official and is not indicative at all of the gameplay as the game was being played by a newbie. A much better video can be found here: http://dailymotion.virgilio.it/video/x8w9yp_boh-game-session_videogames (the version shown is a bit old, so some features are missing).

    Regards,
    Simone Bevilacqua

  3. Hi josepzin,

    look at the gameplay, not at the technical quality ;)

    Hi all I’m Idealsoft “the newbie” ;-)
    I made the first video for free to promote Simone’s game on my italian blog. Nice look to see it also on this great site.
    Regards,
    Idealsoft.

    Fammi sapere. Flavio.

    Certo, io lo diceba per la calitá técnica :)

    First of all, I’m grateful to you for all that you did :)
    In my post, I just wanted to clarify that the core of the game – exploration – isn’t evident in that video. I used “newbie” without any negative intention, but it was meant to underline that the video isn’t representative enough only because you had just started playing BOH and therefore you weren’t playing it the right way yet (if you remember, we had already discussed about this on your forum back then). Sorry if I offended you – it wasn’t absolutely my intention.
    As for the removal of the video, the choice is completely up to you: I have no problem with it staying online.

    @josepzin

    OK :)

    No lo menciamos porque no lo sabíamos, así que gracias por la información. Ya está modificado.

    No problem Simon, I just wanted to clarify my position about this story.
    @ All readers
    Have fun with BOH :-) . Greetings from Italy.
    Idealsoft.

  10. @idealsoft
    OK :)

    @Baltolkien
    The game also runs on AROS ;)
    I’ll seize the chance to inform you that today I released an update that does the following:
    * adds one-way passages;
    * adds flying enemies;
    * changes the functioning of teleports: weapons are not inhibited anymore;
    enemies are not scared away anymore; the activation wait is shorter; enemies
    are destroyed if they touch the character during teleporting;
    * improves the visual feedback of hits in theme “vectors”;
    * increases the intensity of shot lights;
    * fixes some minor glitches in the themes “C64″, “default” and “vectors”;
    * adds the mission “skill challenge”;
    * retouches several missions (also making use of one-way passages);
    * adds the Norwegian translation;
    * re-assigns some map characters for an even more logical arrangement and,
    therefore, an easier development of missions;
    * adds graying-out of the menu interface when another application gets the focus;
    * extends/improves the manuals;
    * applies some other changes/optimizations.

    Yo tengo el BOH y lo juego en AmigaOS 4.1 sobre una placa SAM440.
    Es una pena que aqui no mencioneis en categoria a Amiga y mucho más cuando ahora va a salir el nuevo amiga x1000
